TWO PIANOS

                               playing for life

FRIENDS OF TWO PIANOS

The Two Pianos Project is a "sponsored project" of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts service organization. This relationship allows Papers Please Inc. to receive tax-deductible contributions for specific Project-related activities including A Border Town in Poland. Charitable contributions to the Two Pianos Project may be made by clicking this link.

We're grateful our generous Contributors have made possible the development of venue-specific concert events in Philadelphia, Newark and Leipzig; the Two Pianos Exhibits; creation of Two Pianos color brochures in German and English; printing of event Programs in German and English; and filming/editing the Highlights Videos displayed here or on the Two Pianos YouTube channel.  In-kind expert services helped us include Video and Audio tape conversions of family archival material in our multi-media presentations and the full-length DVD of the 2019 Rutgers event.

Donations also enabled publication and distribution (under the new Papers Please Inc. Penn Convoy Press imprint) of A Border Town in Poland: A 20th Century Memoir/ Hirsch Bieler as told to Nora Jean and Michael H. Levin. Thanks in part to recently-digitized cassette tapes, a second book in this oral-history series, Firebird, is forthcoming.

Unique artifacts from Anna Bieler’s Kulturbund membership and her Leipzig Germany Kulturbund Concerts (1934, 1936) were donated by the Levin family to the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH), Philadelphia PA.
