• Leipzig: 29-30 June 2019: Two events plus exhibits, sponsored by The Synagogue & Meeting Center Leipzig eV as part of Leipzig's bi-annual "Jewish Week" (23-30 June 2019), in the city where the Two Pianos story begins.
• Newark NJ 27 Oct. 2019: A concert and multimedia event at the Paul Robeson Campus Center of Rutgers University's Newark Campus, where Halina was Professor of Piano for ten years.
Events were videographed for highlights excerpts and a possible documentary film. Each event included live performances and portable exhibit elements that add depth to performance themes.
Primary Fundraising: Two Pianos performance events in Leipzig and Newark are free to attendees as public service community activities. At both venues our local partners have primary responsibility for venues, audience-building and technical support.
Supplementary contributions to cover additional expenses such as video editing and print materials are welcome from friends, family and other individual or institutional donors, who may contribute by credit card on-line by clicking this link or by check payable to Fractured Atlas with "Two Pianos: Playing for Life Project" in the memo line.
Discussions are underway to bring adaptations of Two Pianos to Mexico City, London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tel Aviv, New York City, and the U.S. West Coast.
